Clinical Research Seminar Series (CRSS): The Basic Science of Clinical Research

Description

The Office of Clinical Research, Health Sciences and the Center for Research on Health Care are co-sponsoring a new monthly clinical research seminar series. The purpose of this series is to present a broad overview of fundamental clinical research concepts, methods, and tools to the large number of trainees who are pursuing clinical research careers in the six health sciences schools. Continuing education credits (CMEs and CEUs) will be available to those who attend the seminars.

Target Audience

This series has been designed for students, residents, post-doctoral fellows, and junior faculty who are interested in, or who are already pursuing, clinical research careers. Others (i.e., clinical research coordinators, experienced clinical researchers/faculty, and PhD's) who are interested in learning more about clinical research are welcome to attend.

Fees

There is no charge for attending any of the scheduled seminar series lectures. Light refreshments will be offered prior to the sessions.
