This intensive two day workshop covers the basic concepts required to successfully coordinate a research study and provides an overview
of the research resources and regulatory requirements for conducting clinical research at the University of Pittsburgh. Application of
concepts to drug/device trials, as well as non-drug/device trials, is discussed. Attendees have an opportunity to network with
experienced coordinators, in addition to staff from key offices at the University. Continuing education credits (CEUs) will be available
to those who complete the entire program.
Target Audience
The program is designed for coordinators with less than one year's experience, as well as experienced coordinators requiring a
review of basic concepts related to coordinating a clinical trial. Others (i.e., data managers, physicians, fellows) with similar
needs are welcome to attend.
Fees
$65 for persons employed by the University of Pittsburgh and its affiliated institutions.
$75 for non affiliates.
Enrollment
Registration is mandatory. Enrollment is limited to 100 persons per session. The course can be cancelled for enrollment under 10 persons.
