Study Design and Statistical Consultation
Policies and Procedures

The following acknowledgement statement should appear in any abstract, poster, publication, presentation, or manuscript resulting from a project for which the Study Design and Statistical Consultation Service assistance was received:

Acknowledgement: The author(s) would like to thank the Study Design and Statistical Consultation Service at the University of Pittsburgh's Office of Clinical Research, Health Sciences, for assistance with study design and/or statistical aspects of this project.

All persons receiving assistance from the Study Design and Statistical Consultation Service are expected to participate in an evaluation of the service. The evaluation will consist of a series of three on-line surveys:

  1. an initial survey upon completion of the services;
  2. a six-month follow up survey; and
  3. a final survey approximately 3 months after project completion.

Clients will be contacted via e-mail when each survey is to be completed. To facilitate contact and ensure comprehensive evaluation data, clients are asked to notify the service of any change in name and/or contact information until the third and final survey has been completed. Notification of these changes can be sent to clinicalresearch@hs.pitt.edu.
